FANTASTIC NOBODIES & THESAMENICEPEOPLE
Living Frame Part II : America's Most Unwanted

March 1st :: 7PM-11PM
March 2nd-4th :: Noon-10pm

303GGRAND is pleased to present The Fantastic Nobodies and the Living Frame Part II : America’s Most Unwanted with portions being streamed online and to the Scope art fair opening. An ongoing show/shoot as inclusive happening will occur in a life-sized frame suitable for a masterpiece painting.

The Living Frame Project draws upon the performance history of a starkly individualistic group of New York artists who work in collaboration as Fantastic Nobodies: Steve Johnson, Marc Grubstein, Dave Henry Brown Jr., Chad Spicer, Daniel Joseph as the core artists, while the inclusive format continues to bring others into the mix.

The Living Frame is a constantly-changing moving piece of art: part play; part soap opera; part circus sideshow; part vaudeville; part improv class; part avant-garde theatre; part social commentary.

‘Jesus did not act alone, for he acted with a group of wild men, weirdos and conceptual strategists.’

‘Columbus did not discover America. The nobodies were always there. The nobodies found each other. And nobody has figured out what that means yet.’

Alex Eagleton of thesamenicepeople invited the Fantastic Nobodies to participate in a show at 303GRAND in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he will present a performance based video art installation in the front space to accompany the Living Frame Project.
