"Genius" was Genius

The opening for Mykim Dang's exhibition, "Genius" was a smash hit.  Tons of cool people came out to admire her work, and partake in a bumpin' party.

Here's a couple pics from that night.

Her work will be up at 303 Grand until Saturday, so come by and check it out!

Hidden Ora

The talented Shantell Martin used her live drawing capabilities to capture people's "Hidden Ora's".

The Dreamer Examines His Pillow Reflection (so far)

The run we've had of  "The Dreamer Examines his Pillow" has totally exceeded my expectations both as an actor and producer. On the business side (granted not as fun) we've had marvelous houses that began with a smash success of an opening night that included beer, live music, and lot's of people who genuinely had a great time experiencing the show- there was genuine enjoyment all around of the beer as well. It's been a pleasure having the artwork and photographs on the walls; it makes it a much more inviting and interesting space and people seem to enjoy being greeted by the visuals when they enter the space.

As far as the acting goes, it's been a joy- the play has depth and nuance enough that each performance yields something new, a fresh moment, another joke; I've had more fun on this ride that Shanley has created then anything for quite some time, I can't wait for what the closing weekend will bring us.
